This LP proudly proclaims that it features the lyrics of the late Florra Pfeifer - but it buries the fact that the music, vocals, and all instruments but drums are courtesy of Geoff Edmunds. This was Edmund's first recording in Canada - and we're usually not ones to fan the flames of sibling rivalry, but we will note that Geoff's brother Dave was also busy that year, putting out his third LP with the assistance of Nick Lowe. We weren't able to find out out much about lyricist Florra Pfeifer beyond a quick note in her obituary saying her "passions in life were prose and poetry, music and the Calgary Flames."
