Ronnie Burla was born in Thunder Bay and ended up in Alberta as a performing and recording artist in the 70's, originally signed to Edmonton's Royalty Records. His bio on Discogs says, "[i]n 1977 he would sign a long-term contract with Royalty and remain with them for many years" - but this single on Calgary's Strawberry Records dates 1980, so... maybe he didn't last that long with Royalty? We appreciate that the B side of this single is a slightly longer cut of the A side, presumably to allow FM listeners more time to enjoy Ronnie's pop songwriting.
