Gypsy Moth are the name on this CBC compilation that's new to us - but others on here, especially Jann Arden (with only one "n"?) are very familiar. [i]From the liner notes:[/i] Gypsy Moth has been together for the last couple of years. Lead vocalist Paul Forest is the driving force behind the group. Paul originally hails from New Bruns wick but now lives in Calgary where Gypsy Moth does most of its playing Produced in Calgary by Les Siemieniuk. Tom Wilson has only recently returned to performing. Tom was quite active in the Winnipeg and Toronto folk scene during the 1970s. He's spent the last ten years living quietly in Calgary, raising a family. Jan Arden is a 25 year old singer/songwriter from Calgary. She has been singing professionally for five years, including three years on the Vancouver rock and roll circuit. When Jan isn't performing throughout Alberta, she's busy working on an upcoming album. Mark Koenig is originally from British Columbia but now lives in Calgary While Mark does occasionally play in the Calgary area, he's spending more and more time in Nashville, working on his songwriting and looking for that big break.
