This is one of those Old Man Shouting At Clouds records - we're guessing Red Richard wasn't a fan of the elder Mr. Trudeau, and decided that it was important enough to make a record about it. From the back cover: RED RICHARDS The Yodelling Southpaw Allan J. Richards (Red) has lived all of his life in Western Canada, having migrated to Calgary from Saskatchewan in the 1930's. Since early childhood, music has been a part of his life. His musical versatility ranges from plectrum banjo, guitar, steel and keyboard; to composition. In the past, he has performed on several local radio stations, as well as having his own dance band. During these trying and troubled times, Red has endeavored to put his sentiments into song with a sense of humour. "JUST SOCIETY" and the "FUDDLE DUDDLE BOYS" are only two of a collection Red has put together, of "songs of the times." Many thanks to Doug Wong, Nigel Blagborne and the rest of the boys at Sundae Sound Studios, for an outstanding job.
