This is a really weird record that sent us down at rabbit hole that ended up (happily?) at the 80's kids cartoon the Racoons. Colonel Loonar was an early 1960's kids TV show that aired on CFCN. The show centered around Len Carlson, who played the titular character and voiced a series of puppets (note: this is all based on descriptions we've read, we haven't been able to find archival video). His talents took him to Vancouver, Seattle, and then Vancouver where ended up part of the team that brought us the greatness that was the Racoons. As we mentioned, this is a weird record - it plays like a pastiche of scenes and characters, and probably makes more sense if you'd seen the show. And it looks like Mel Shaw was involved in this somehow...
