He landed in - of all places - Warner, Alberta in the early 1970s and started playing in Lethbridge, eventually extending his reach up to Calgary. It looks like he ended up mostly splitting his time between Toronto and Lethbridge, touring across Canada in between - with frequent stops here in Calgary.
