We've never been able to pin down the story of PLP Records or singer Peter F. Clarke. This song is basically the same tune as "Watch Me Fly," the lead song off Dixie Lee Innes' 1997 LP on the same label. AND there's another version of this song recorded by another singer. It's highly tangled, and we haven't been able to unknot any of it.
