As soon as we picked up this CD from roots veteran Mike Stack, we knew we were in for something great. We've been fans of Stacks other projects (the Burners and the Grift), and this solo CD has an amazing supporting cast - basically, the Co-Dependents and Beautiful Joe, plus David Wilkie, Jenny Allen and Ron Casat. Stack's songcraft and delivery are excellent, setting another high water mark for the city's roots scene.
