"IMAGINE ME LOVING YOU" b/w "WRONG SIDE OF YOUR MIND." JOE POPIEL With this initial release of "IMAGINE ME LOVING YOU" b/w "WRONG SIDE OF YOUR MIND" on the Westmount label, JOE POPIEL (pronounced "Pope-eel") launches his career as a solo artist. Originally from Saskatchewan, Joe has spent several years travelling across Canada performing in various groups and now resides in Calgary. While in Toronto, a few years back, he performed on numerous T.V. and radio programs and released a single on Quality Records entitled "I Can't Live Without You" b/w "Crying Again" which were both original compositions. His back-up group at the time was the Fireballs and the single was produced by Norm Petty and cut at his studio in Clovis, New Mexico. A talented musician (Joe is capable of playing virtually all string instruments) and composer, he is planning on recording more of his original compositions in the future, which will appear on his first solo album. Watch for it! It could be the greatest thing since the "Pocket Fisherman"!
