There are a lot of weird CDs in the CCPS collection, and this is one of the stranger of the lot. We're attributing this disc to Heavy Petal - though we don't know for sure that's the band name here. This is a series of songs that were dreamed up by interpretive staff in the Kananaskis Park for their nature shows - educational tunes that tackle hard topics like the dangers of ticks, living in harmony with bears (almost literally?), and migration. There seems to be some connection between some of these songs and the recently closed [url=https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/calgary/evergreen-theatre-shutting-down-1.7532138]Evergreen Theatre[/url], but the liner notes are vague on specifics.
