If we had received this tape from CP Walsh just a few years earlier, we would have been able to visit Visions of Kody's Geocities page and perhaps found out some real, factual information to share with you. Instead, we are going to tell you that they were also eaten by coyotes, all though we have no idea when, since there's not even a year listed on this tape. Update! Patrick Lucas got in touch with us to fill us in on a bunch of backstory on this tape:
I played drums in two of the bands you have on the site: Wilderness '91 to '94 (you had this on your site at one point) and Visions of Kody '94 to '98

Wilderness was a high school grunge band including Brock Ramsay (Bass), Casey Routly (vocals and guitar), Joel Ashworth (guitar). We mostly just played house parties and attended all ages shows or snuck into the Republik or other venues whenever we could. We weren't very good, but I was quite skilled at getting us on stages and at one point we toured across Canada just after we graduated from High School.

Visions of Kody was basically the slightly more grown up and slightly more serious version of the same band where we turned to folk rock which was super popular at the time. Yes, we even had an accordion player. The members were Casey Routly (guitar and vocals) Josh Boser (guitar and vocals), Brock Ramsay (bass), Todd Elliot (percussion), Tony Rozic (piano, guitar and accordion) and myself on drums.

Kingston - named after the city as I wrote most of the lyrics to the song while living in Kingston was the title of a demo tape which eventually was re-recorded into a CD called Friendly Wandering Companion. I think we recorded it at Axe Studios.

With that CD we actually started to get a very small amount of radio play and booked pretty consistent gigs around Calgary and touring around Alberta and then across Canada. We had one big chance as part of a showcase at the COCA fest (Canadian Organization for Campus Activities) where we had the chance to play in front of talen buyers for secondary institutions across Canada, agents etc. We practised for months and played our hearts out, but we failed to impress the audience and nothing came of it. After that, things petered out. I left the band in the spring of '99 and the band broke up later that year.
