Gene Poole has a major fascination with the songs of Bacharach and David, so this single from the Gainsborough Gallery is the one of theirs we always go back to. Their recording of Little Red Book pulls from Love's masterful version, which is certainly not a bad thing. And the B side is no slouch, either.
