Apologies in advance for the terrible quality of this country single from the Wood Sisters. From the now-offline Heart Music Publishing Group website: From the same talent agency that represented Rick Morgenstern, The Wood Sisters found themselves a temporary home with Heart Records with their debut release of Lovin' Willie. Another production by Curtis Young in Nashville, the song had a clean, quality Nashville sound, but failed to excite the majority of music directors in western or central Canada. However, the record got significant airplay in the eastern Canadian regions (attributed to its 'folksy' Newfoundland-like sound). This was the label's third release and the label's new distributor Metrodisc, was looking for more than just sporadic, limited and regional airplay; troubling to the floundering label that acquired the prominence it did with its initial release.
