He's located on the east coast now, but in the late 1990's Ian MacDonald's name was thrown around among folks like Corb Lund as one of the next big up-and-comers in the country music scene, with sings chasing the path that Paul Brandt had just blazed. MacDonald didn't hit the same heights but this four-song tape is a pretty great thing that hints at just why he was held in such high regard. The songs are excellent (especially the title track) and MacDonald is aided by an all-star cast that includes Ron Casat, Tim Williams, and Russ Broom.
