Bob Kitella's "Somebody Else" is kind of a bitter take on Billy Joel's "Just The Way You Are," and the glossy 80's production is in full effect. Oooh! Thanks to Les Seminuk and Lee Shedden for passing us a copy of this with the cover art! BOB KITELLA: Bob Kitella was born and raised in Calgary, Alberta. Being the youngest child in a family of 9, where music had been passed down for 5 generations, it was discovered that at the age of 4 Bob had acquired a love for music and began playing the accordion by ear. At the age of 5, Bob's parents decided to enroll him in music lessons. He won 1st place in several Calgary Kiwanis Music Festivals. At the age of 12, he began playing in a family band with his brothers, at which time he preferred to play Electronic Keyboards. At the age of 16, Bob began writing songs and hoped that one day he would be able to record them. Now, at the age of 22, he has finally done it, and after many hours in the studio, he has released his debut single, "SOMEBODY ELSE". Some of the songs he writes are based on experiences in his life, and his goal is to write songs that most people can relate to. This would give him a feeling of accomplishment. Bob hopes that one day his dream of a successful Musical career will be fulfilled. Until then, he plans to continue writing & recording his original songs when time permits.
