This Land Is Your Land is one of the discs that Lonnie James released while still living out East (he was probably still playing with the Super Friendz when this dropped); and like his other solo releases, this is a great collection of folk-tinged rock that highlights his sense for melody and wistfulness. And he gives a nod to his punk roots with a spacey version of the X-Ray Spex's Germ Free Adolescence, giving it the modern folk treatment.
