We found another single from Gentleman Jerry - it has promo inserts that tell us Jerry was Jerry Boyarski. It also tells us a bit more about why this single sounds the way it does - that is in fact a drum machine propelling Jerry through these songs, possibly the same sort of electronic accompaniment an accordionist would have used. JERRY BOYARSKI 301, 1515 14 Avenue S.W. Calgary, Alberta T3C OW4 Telephone: (403) 245-9518 Dear Sir: This letter is intended to provide you with information in regard to my background which I hope you will consider useful in promoting the enclosed recording. I not only produced this record, but wrote and performed it as well, and I am sure that you will find it of sufficient quality and appeal to warrant its support. I was born into a Polish family with natural musical talent, and found myself polka-ing up a storm on the accordion at the age of 8. I played in the high school band, and developed an affinity for the drums. I spent 25 years in the Los Angeles area, and discovered an ability not only to entertain, but compose music. Since my family root are entwined with the pioneer west (one great uncle was hanged as a horse thief), my love for the colour and flair of country and western music expresses itself. I have written approximately 100 tunes and attempted to produce and distribute one, "Book of Love and City of Love", with limited results. I am hoping that my present attempts will be more successful, and I am certain that with the co-operation of you and your colleagues, they will be. Gratefully yours, Jerry Boyarski
