This is (at the time of writing) and older tape from Devin Friesen and his Bitter Fictions project. Back when this was originally released, Exclaim posted a stream of the recording and wrote: In fitting with the bitter moniker, the release opens with a 21-minute suite called "Jaywalking to Avoid Families." It's followed by the eight-minute "Idler" and 14-minute "Stitch (Ten Years a Stranger)." As always, the release is made up of otherworldly guitar drones. As Friesen's label Shaking Box Music puts, the release offers "lushly blown-out feedback solitude caught on tape, one more hopefully hopeless new age conspiracy from the bummer basement."
